Close to the Sawtooth National Recreation Area with its jagged mountains, forests and water.

There is the majestic Salmon River – the famous ‘River of No Return’ – Stanley acts as a gateway to thousands of adventures and activities – such as rafting, hiking, biking, climbing – making it the perfect destination for outdoor recreation enthusiasts.

Situated off Highway 75, this down-to-earth lodge is 0.3 miles from the center of Stanley and 1.5 miles from Stanley Airport.

The straightforward rooms feature satellite TV, and some add amenities such as kitchenettes, microwaves and minifridges.

There’s an American restaurant with views of the Sawtooth Mountains, and free shuttle service to and from Stanley Airport. All guests have use of the resort’s natural hot springs.

Get to Stanley, Idaho several ways:

From Boise:  Take ID-55 to Banks. Turn right on Banks-Lowman Highway (ID-17) going East to Lowman and the junction with ID-21. Turn left on ID-21 and follow it 57 miles to Stanley.

Alternate Route:  Take ID-21 all the way from Boise, passing Lucky Peak Reservoir and directly through historic Idaho City and Lowman. It’s approximately 130 miles one way.

From Twin Falls: Take US-93 North from Twin Falls, which changes to ID-75 at Shoshone. Follow ID-75 through Ketchum and 60 miles further north to Stanley.

From Sun Valley: Take ID-75 north for 60 miles to Stanley.
